Celine Alix

 

Céline Alix holds an Advanced Post Master Diploma (DESS) in intellectual property law from the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas. As a member of the Paris bar, Céline Alix worked for more than 8 years as a corporate and intellectual property lawyer in the Paris office of Linklaters LLP and in the Paris and New York offices of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where she built a solid experience in the handling of technical legal and financial matters.

Céline Alix also worked during 4 years as an attaché within the Agence financière of the French embassy in Washington D.C. and as a senior officer in the International Department of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers where she perfected her expertise in drafting and translating legal and financial materials.

Céline Alix has been working as a legal translator since 2011. Her clients include French and international law firms and legal departments of large companies, as well as for the European Court of Justice and several NGOs.

Céline has translated Michael Lewis’ book “Flash Boys : Histoire d’une révolte à Wall Street”, which was published by the Editions du Sous-Sol (Groupe Le Seuil) in January 2016.

Céline Alix translates all types of legal and financial documents from English to French and from French to English.
